El Taco Tako Mexican Food - Arcola

Oh. My. Gosh. I am the pickiest Mexican food eater you will ever find. I was passing through the area, and Yelp recommended this little hole in the wall. This is the BEST food you will ever eat north of the Mexican border!! Trust me on this !! Take out or dine in. It seems most people take out. All they need to add to their menu is margaritas. Incredible. It's just a short drive off I-57 toward downtown Arcola. A MUST!!!

Awesome authentic tacos, pastor is great. Sauces are on point too. I feel like I'm back in Mexico. Yum! Owners were very friendly.

Traveling from Dallas to Chicago and found this gym off the beaten path. Tacos we're very good as well as the rice and beans. Loved it!!

Needed a snack while headed north and back to Indiana after a bit of yelp searching I knew my other half would enjoy some real mexican street style taco's so the routing began. Very small place with little seating and like another review said it might look closed but they were open. We split a taco plate with chicken and steak taco's, they were quickly brought out and provided three different sauces for the choosing, we used all three and enjoyed them as well as the taco's. both the chicken and the steak had amazing flavor with out the sauces. Sent a note to family who head this way to do some shopping that it's a must stop, great tacos!!

The best authentic tacos I've ever had. There isn't a time where they don't sound good.
