Ten Ren's Tea Time - Arcadia

Haven't been here for many many years, so it was nice to come back this time with the kids. The food still delicious and so were the drinks.We ordered the ramen and black sugar milk tea. Unfortunately, their mild ended up being extra spicy. At the end, nobody was able to eat it.So, make sure to ask to try the spiceness before ordering it. Otherwise, it's just money being wasted. The food take a little bit longer to arrive but it did seem they were short staffed.Also, the place is a little bit run down with peeling chairs but that didn't bothered us.It was nice to revisit a place from my college years.

Guys, when I say I haven't been to Ten Ren in a long time, I honestly mean it. Stepped foot in here recently and was just blown away by all of the changes. Maybe they aren't new changes to the regulars but to me there was a ton of changes and I have to say I can see myself coming back more often now. Ordered:Joy Pot Their dipping sauce reminded me of Boiling Points. It was filled with meats. I felt like it was endless. Definitely a lot of bang for your buck. It was well flavored and definitely a dinner I enjoyed! Condensed Milk Brick Toast Their brick toast has always hit the spot! Always super delicious and just the right amount of condensed milk. Chrysanthemum tea with aloe vera always my go to here.Milk tea with grass jelly hubby liked it and had no complaints. he said he would get it again. Popcorn Chicken Usually when I order this at tea shops I ask for non spicy but its still has a bit of a kick for my kids who complain that its spicy. But Ten Ren they enjoyed and it really was not spicy at all. They were fighting to finish the popcorn chicken.Squid balls I got this in a mild and I think next time I will have to order it medium spicy. It was very delicious to me. Staff were very friendly. I got greeted right as I walked into the door. Staff came and checked on us often. Food came out at a really reasonable pace/timeframe. Like I mentioned above, I definitely see myself coming back here. The family all enjoyed our meal and overall experience. It brought back a lot of memories of high school. And I am glad that the quality didn't get worst. They just added more to their menu like the Joy Pot and not just snacks. And honestly the price for the food and drinks was really reasonable for our family of 4 and how inflation has been. Definitely 2 thumbs up from this Yelper! Ten Ren's Tea Time a classic place to get milk tea. I like the flavors of the Jasmine green tea here. Parking is easy with a huge lot in the front. Service is okay. Overall: Will return when craving boba in the area.

My favorite place to get good basic tea besides JIN tea shop. Roasted oolong is my go to here. The flavor is strong and you can actually taste the tea, unlike other tea shops where they dilute it so much. We like to buy tea leaves here as gifts or tea bags for ourselves cause we trust the Ten Ren brand. The drinks come out fast. Sunright is in the same plaza but their drinks are sweeter and the wait is always too long. Don't forgot to bring or get a stamp card.
