Golden Marrow - Arcadia

Tried this during at the 626 market last year. I'm finally getting around to write the review. It was definitely one of my favorite this that night. The bone marrow had the best texture and garlic added the best crunch to it. They serve it on top of little bits of egg noodle. Also, there were gold flakes on top of the bone marrow which made it extra pretty to look at!

I've always loved ordering bone marrow from French restaurants--an amazing burst of flavor on some baguette. I decided to give The Golden Marrow a try, buying the 8 family pack of the black garlic (currently priced at $64. . They come in individual vacuumed seal bags of 2 with super easy-to-follow instructions. Thawing (10 min and cooking time (15 min was perfect (see pictures attached . I ate the marrow with some pasta and baguette and let me just say that the flavor was so rich and totally worth more than $8 each LOL!! I normally like the salty, garlic herb from other marrows I've tasted but the black garlic was a nice savory change! I highly recommend!! It's so cute too--received a thank you voicemail from the chef a couple days after I picked up my order. :

I've ordered 3 times now and I love these bone marrow! Easy to cook and super yummy! What more could I ask for? The flavors are just right and satisfied my bone marrow cravings during covid. I personally love bone marrow. When I found out there was a pop-up bone marrow via social media with convenient pick up locations during quarantine I got really excited! My roommates and I always do a #GourmetWednesday since quarantine started where we do extravagant meals on Wednesday. This week we did an anchovy shallot pasta with bone marrow and lemon vinaigrette side salad. I haven't tried their glazed flavors yet because I wanted to do a plain bone marrow to see how it would taste. First of all, the cut is amazing. The flavor was so gourmet. I seasoned with salt, pepper, and olive oil! It was perfect. Secondly, it was so easy to make, just pop in the oven for 12-15 minutes while keeping an eye on it at 350 degrees. Lastly, it was so easy to pick up! I picked mine up at amazebowls in DTLA because I live on the west side. Took me less than 20 min driving and 5 min to pick up and everyone at amazebowls was so nice. Calvin was so helpful when I emailed him because they actually had run out of bone marrow a few weeks ago when we wanted to do gourmet Wednesday. This place is worth the wait. The product is high quality and I got my quarantine bone marrow fix! I can't wait to try their glazed flavors next!!!

Where do I start? Let's just say great marrow, good price! It's better than restaurant quality, honestly this is gonna be my go-to place from now on! Thanks Golden Marrow team for making my dinner tonight extra special! Will be ordering again and again!
