Catfish Place

Salad bar part of buffet was nice and cold, but food on other half was Luke warm at best.. except for the fresh chicken that was brought out. The fish walleye was soggy, catfish wasn't much better.. Cozy lil place to eat, but careful sitting in the chairs as the one my 72 year old father sat in fell apart and he hit the floor. The husband and wife owners just stood there and stared without even bothering to help out. Luckily some kind guys from another table came over and helped him. The owner lady finally came and grabbed the broken chair and complained about it being broken because of my dad.. like it was his fault their seating is old and outdated. And the price is outrageous $18 per person regardless of age. Was my first time visiting and most likely the last simply because of the owners(older couple) Host and waitress attitudes over the chair

The decor is basic cafe. The staff is friendly. The food is good. Service on a busy night can make the experience less awesome. No rolls. No slaw even though was to come with the sandwich. I got plenty of fries though. Good local place to eat and not over pricey.

Kinda pricey these days but really great food. And really good sweet tea!!

We love camping at the Catfish Place! The kids have a 2 playgrounds, a swimming pool, paddle boats, fishing and plenty of room to just run and play. The grounds are always clean and maintained. The people are always friendly. Definitely would recommend!!
