Anna's Pizzeria - Apex

The place was not clean.. food all over the floor tables were dirty and sticky.. our grandma's pie tasted like the sauce had too much sugar in it. ?

This is a locally owned pizza place run by folks who (I believe) moved down to the area from New York. Thus, what you'll get here is New York style pizza with a selection of other items on the menu. It's located in the heart of historic downtown Apex with a modestly-sized dining room and a small bar. My pizza was pretty good, and I'd stop in again the next time my travels take me out this way.

Our lunch was catered to Crossroads ford and it was absolutely delicious. I will recommend you highly. One happy employee...?

We are transplants to North Carolina from the NYC area, so our pizza standards are SUPER HIGH. ? And the one place that absolutely lives up to our pizza expectations is Anna's. The pizza is hands down the best in the area, and reminds us of the very best NY style pizza. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and while the seating is basic, it's a ok for a pizza place. They do have a beer and wine menu which is nice and they also offer a good sized menu of other Italian dishes, but it's the pizza that keeps us coming back. Highly recommend! Kid friendliness: This is a perfect place to take kids casual, friendly and great pizza!
