The Boathouse - Antrim

Without a doubt, this restaurant offers one of the best ambiances in town. The food is fantastic, but it does come at a premium. It's more expensive than I expected compared to other places in Antrim. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £90–100 Food rating: 4/5.

Our first visit to the Boathouse definitely won't be our last. We had a wonderful experience! Given that they had just reopened a few days ago, everything was impressive. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and we never felt rushed. The service was excellent—perfectly balanced, not intrusive but always attentive. The food was of high quality, and the desserts had a homemade touch that you often don't find. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with no complaints, and I highly recommend it!

What an improvement! Congrats to the new owners/management. A truly great meal today Sole Veronique for me and Venison Cottage Pie for him. Truly delicious perfectly cooked food which was served by friendly, attentive staff in the beautiful surroundings of Lough Neagh. The Boathouse Banger cocktail went down very well too. It's advertised as fish restaurant but not much fish coises. and then it's from frozen and not from fresh and on top of that not even a pinch of salt on the fish for flavour.
