If you're craving for Ilocos Empanada, you don't need to travel 14 hours just to eat one! Fariñas Ilocos Empanada brings it closer to your home. As for someone who has been to Ilocos several times, I would say that their empanadas do not disappoint. It's legit. It's very siksik with the right ingredients! I keep coming back for their bagnet and longganiza. My son likes their tapa. For the food I give them 5 for the ambiance a 3. Service is pretty good.
If you've been to Ilocos and can't get enough of their Empanada, this place is for you. They serve the best empanadas in town. Freshly made infront of you. The only thing I didn't like was how few the bagnet meal served. The bagnet was so few I can count it with my bare hand.
My family and I visited Ilocos last year and it was indeed a GREAT experience! I miss the place and of course, their mouth-watering food! The empanadas, longganisa, poqui-poqui and their oh so yummy BAGNET (those crispy fat lining and juicy meat)! Oh, I darn miss the food! Good thing there’s Farina’s Ilocos Empanada which caters food from Ilocos. And, there’s a branch near our place -along Marcos Highway so I gave it a shot together with my good friend. Of course, I have to order their famous Empanada (Php50 with one egg, one longganisa and vegetables) Even though they say all their ingredients were sourced in Ilocos, I think they didn’t live up the taste of Ilocos empanada. Their empanada were packed with too much veggies and lacks taste.
