The Refuge - Antigo

My girlfriend and I walked in and waited over five minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Finally, a woman came over and immediately informed us there would be a 15-minute wait. I asked, “Fifteen minutes? Half of your tables are empty.” She replied that they had 20 people in the restaurant and just wanted to let us know about the wait time. Ultimately, we chose to eat elsewhere. If that was the level of service we experienced before even sitting down, I can't imagine what it would have been like as customers.

Excellent experience. The interior is very appealing, and the menu offers a nice variety of dishes. Prices are reasonable for the area. The food I ordered was delicious and nicely presented. Overall, it was a satisfying visit.

The interior is beautifully designed, and the food is quite good with satisfactory service. It's conveniently located right across from my hotel, Super8. I received a complimentary drink coupon for staying there. I would definitely recommend giving it a try at least once.
