フィードバックを提供するWe had a reservation for 6:30 on a Saturday night, but it took 30 minutes after we were seated for our waiter to take our drink orders. Then we waited an additional 20 minutes to receive our drinks and place our food orders. We chose the prime rib, a relish appetizer, and the shrimp pasta. Unfortunately, I found the food didn't justify the prices. The prime rib was marred by large chunks of fat, taking up nearly 40% of the slice, which suggested the chef doesn't trim it properly. The shrimp pasta was excessively spicy; while I enjoy spice, this was poorly balanced. The relish was overly vinegary with no other discernible flavors. Additionally, their beer selection was limited to hazy IPAs, which I like, but I believe IPAs don’t pair well with every meal. I would have appreciated a few more malty options, which was quite frustrating. In total, we spent $130 for what I would consider mediocre food and service. I could have spent just a little more in the city for a significantly better dining experience. Having worked in restaurants for several years, I understand the challenges of satisfying everyone, but for the sake of Club300, I truly hope they improve the quality of their food, drinks, and service. I preferred their fusion cuisine to the current meat and potatoes menu and am unlikely to return.
The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was outstanding. Though they were quite busy and we had to wait a little while, we didn't mind in the least. The food was delicious, and I absolutely loved the truffle fries. It was a great experience going downstairs to the speakeasy bar for drinks. I adore the charm of this old building and how beautifully they have renovated it. I will definitely be returning!
I had dinner here on the second night of their soft opening with the new chef and menu format. The kitchen did an outstanding job with our steaks, especially the filets, which were exceptional. All three steaks arrived slightly cooler than we had ordered, but the quality of the cuts made them enjoyable as served. The ambiance is upscale fine dining, while the service and atmosphere have a more Midwestern supper club feel. Although I liked the previous version of this restaurant, I appreciate the new format even more. Congratulations to the owners on a successful transition!
I really wanted to love this place after reading the great reviews and we love supporting small businesses . The ambience and decorating was gorgeous. The drinks were great. Other than that, the food was sub par. We ordered the egg rolls, which lackedflavor. My husband ordered the snapper, which was over cooked and tough- the veggies were the best part. My food was okay- Iordered the Hot and Spicy Thai Basil with chicken; the chicken was also over cooked. The building had an ?old house? smell thatI couldn?t get past and I felt impacted the flavor of the food. We made reservations for a Friday evening and there were onlytwo other parties there, which was surprising. Our server was okay- somewhat awkward and wasn?t familiar with the menu.Unfortunately, we will not be returning and would not recommend this place to family and friends.
Fine decorations and pleasant staff. Food portions are generous but flavor could be a bit mild if you ever had red curry elsewhere . The jerk chicken pack a heated kick with a hint of sweetness. The fries was quite flavorful with the ingredientsthat was used.
