Au Bureau - Annemasse

Followed the music to a little plaza containing Au Bureau and other shops and restaurants.

Visiting Geneva and tried the place outHas the potato burger and fries, came out piping hot and deliciousNice atmosphere and very friendly staff.

One of the only places open on Sundays. Happy hour Monday through Friday : 1/2 off mojitos, alcohol free cocktails and pints of beer.

This is the second time that I write this evaluation and the first was taken up for too many expletive. all history in google maps reviews. we landed here by chance, two old dumpels, haven't seen us for years. long story short,...we ate tasteless eating, drank sloppy cocktails. nothing of it is a problem, we have nothing to do with it. then we paid and changed to another place. before another place we were stopped by the manager of auburau and one of the waiters who did not serve us. manager visibly angry and aggressive. but no problem if there was a misunderstanding, I would be happy to go back with them and solve it (I still try to communicate in my bad French.) after I tried to go with this guy who flees from me, I stop and ask what the problem is because I come with them to sort the problem. no English and continues. when we came back, it took 5 minutes to find the person who served us while the guy became more and more visible. then the person who served us explained calmly that we paid everything and there is no problem. that happened: the guy heard it and just went away. for my reaction they read reviews elsewhere. note that this is a great, aggressive looking person who would scare the soul from every customer in normal circumstance. dreadful, terrible approach.

I cried a couple of beers. I don't like sitting in the sun, but I had no choice, I had to sit outside unless I eat. No one was sitting inside! the service, as mentioned by others reviewers, was unexcepted. it was, I admit, busy. but that doesn't apologize badly or slowly, service. Covid-19 is not an excuse for a bad service! I would have liked to have eaten there, but what about the apathy that showed the staff, some of whom considered it important to chat with their friends, has decided against it. they needed to get their acts together.
