Fisher Center Spiegeltent

This was one of the worst dining experiences! We had made a reservation for dinner and were asked if we were finished before our main course was served. They didn't offer water, a second round of drinks, or dessert. My meal was sent out undercooked... I have never written a negative review before, but we were extremely disappointed by the experience!

Came for a quick dinner before a 7:30 curtain of Bernstien's Peter Pan at Bard. Service was prompt and attentive, I'm guessing by Bard students, but in any event, young and friendly waitstaff. Our food came out fast, and was fresh and tasty, and we made our curtain in plenty of time. The restaurant is housed in a wonderful building that must at one time have been a carousel, with beautiful wood, mirrors, and stained glass. Would certainly go there again when going to any performances at Bard.

Checking in was chaotic and they did not have our reservation correctly. Noone served us for the longest time and I had to hunt down service. Overall disorganized. Food was mostly just ok and overpriced. Would not return for a meal.

Ambiance was great; fair choice of drinks from bar! Service was excellent but food was poor ; we both had the Panini (different types) which were cold and tasteless! Would only recommend for drinks !

The music was ridicilously loud, like a disco. We could hardly have a conversation.. Such a shame, because the location is cool. Tiny wine glasses, half filled 10 to 12. a glass is way overpriced.
