Gong Cha - Annandale

Our favorite and there is a LOT of competition for that place.Staff is always pleasant and so helpful. We live to just hang out, play card and board games and just enjoy ourselves in this lovely, friendly space.

My wife visited the Gong Cha location with a friend when a female employee approached her, claiming she had seen me, her husband, with another woman in the restaurant. This allegation was entirely false. When my wife asked for more details, the employee offered none and didn’t even apologize. My wife felt publicly humiliated and deeply disturbed by the encounter. Such behavior is completely unprofessional and not in line with the friendly atmosphere that Gong Cha is known for. We have been loyal customers at Gong Cha Annandale for years, making it our favorite tea spot. Unfortunately, I regret to say that we will never return, and I will be advising our friends to stay away as well.

Never coming back here again. I am not joking when I tell you I waited 30 mins for one drink. ONE DRINK! Ordered probably the most simple thing on the menu with the 5 people working it took them 30 minutes to make my drink.

We had bubble tea here. We were able to get 50% off by ordering online foe the first time. I am a stickler for good boba amd this place as prett good boba. Slightly softer than I would like bit still chewy enough. Gong cha franchises seem to all have dependable texture on the boba (unlike many places whoch tend to have too soft and soggy boba).

Have been satisfied with Gong Cha at other locations in Houston. The boba was hard on this visit, disappointed. Their special basil seed drink on sale was pretty good.
