Great spot for anything you need! Hot and fresh food made to order as well as tons of deli options. Lots of local items to take with you and try and a huge selection of ice cold drinks. The service is spot on every time and the owners take care of their customers! Perfect spot on Anna Maria Island- a must visit.

This is my go to place for lunch while on Anna Maria. All the sandwiches I have eaten were good and reasonably priced. No frills, just good food. The store does have basic necessities if needed. I mostly stick with the sandwiches

I went to General Store today for a sandwich at 2:00. I like to stop here for breakfast when on the north end of the island. Today I felt like the staff was rude and I was bothering them. I walked in and was reading sandwich board and was told to go around the corner to order. I was not in the way of anyone, there was no line, and it being a small establishment, at non peak hours, I was in ear shot of deli section where all three employees were engaged in conversation. Sandwich board is only visible from in front of register and menus are not available at deli section . Walked over to deli section and was greeted with what can I get for you? No hi, how are you? I had Italian. It was good. Wouldn 't say it was worth the $10 when I passed a Publix and could 've online ordered for far less and not had to have had this experience while trying I support a small business. I have been in hospitality for 20 years and definition to me is to treat everyone like they are a guest in your home, and that was not the vibe today at general store, and doesn 't reflect the small town charm our community is based on. I will be back. Hopefully with a better experience to share. And hopefully they can invest in posting more menus.

This places is the best alway ready on time ....fast! Quality the absolutely best and will come back again and again! Breakfast or sandwich so very tasty!!And great fry's! I live very close and couldn't be more pleased!! Thanks
