Sweetwaters Coffee Tea - Ann Arbor

This used to be my favorite cafe on campus. I absolutely love the matcha and imperial milk tea. However, had a really horrible experience. I ordered my matcha, like I do everyday during the semester. My triple was filled to where the double would be and the double was a single. Essentially I got a small for the price of a medium. Nicely asked the person making, who looked like the manager, if it could be filled. Was hit with a blunt response ?This is what you paid for. All the other people just don?t follow the rules.? If the rules is to treat customers with no compassion and passive aggressiveness, then I don?t know if the other employees should be following the rules. This is also not the level they fill up to in the original store. Please look at the picture for proof.

The baristas at this place are incredibly friendly, even during the busiest and most hectic times!

I absolutely love this Sweetwaters location in the beautiful Michigan Union. My teenage daughter enjoys stopping by for coffee and treats while she studies. The fireplace area is a wonderful and cozy spot to relax with your drink. We attended the grand opening celebration in January, which featured Chinese lion dancers to ring in the new year.
