Asked them to remake it without mushrooms, waited and received a breakfast with paper inside. It seemed to be thecheese wrapper ??????? Anyway, it was disappointing to say the least. I have no reason to go back.
Adorable place. I had their waffles and they didn't disappoint! They were crispy on the outside but light and fluffy on the inside. My daughter had the crepes and it was good. However, she had the 5 berry smoothie and she really didn't like it. It hada very odd after taste. But overall, pretty good food and service was fast and great!
Food is very good but overpriced. The cauliflower is very unusual and tasty
Met up with friends and our baby for a nice Sunday brunch. The waiter was kind and was willing to help fix some kitchen delays, but did not have the best experience. We watched other tables of similar size who came later by 15 minutes+ get their orders first. When we got 3/4 of our orders (2 apps a breakfast platter) it was 45 minutes later, and another 20 minutes for the final lunch order (spaghetti) to come. Everyone else was done eating by that time. During this time we were missing silverware and drinks, which we had to go inside and ask for, since we knew it would be another 15ish minutes before we would have someone to bring those out. Ending on a positive note.. the food was excellent, the outside ambiance was great, and the waiter did feel bad the kitchen was running far behind.
Would definitely recommend Café Zola. We loved the salmon bruschetta, halibut, wine blueberry buckle. Our server was polite, informed, and attentive. This part of Washington Street was closed for the Art Fair allowing all restaurants' al fresco diners to enjoy each other, the music, and A2's vibe.
