Subway - Ankeny

I absolutely love Subway! Des Moines/Ankeny has been a test market for the Hero bread, and it was fantastic! Since I’m trying to cut down on carbs, I haven’t been able to enjoy a sub for quite some time. The Hero bread truly tastes like real bread! Unfortunately, the test has concluded, and I really hope they decide to bring it back so I can keep enjoying Subway. Otherwise, I might not return, as I can only have so many salads, and I already eat plenty of those at work!

The customer service here is incredibly friendly! They crafted my sandwich exactly how I wanted it and made me feel good about myself in the process. I truly appreciate this Subway and its wonderful staff!

Excellent service! However, they could use some blinds. The western sun shines quite brightly in the restaurant, making it difficult for the staff to see and interact with the customers. Aside from that, it was a wonderful experience!

I had the worst experience at a Subway. I placed my order through the app, and when I arrived to pick it up, there were no employees in sight at first. Eventually, four people came out from the back and asked how they could help me. I mentioned that I had ordered online, and one of the employees saw my receipt sitting on the counter as I sat down to wait. I ended up waiting for 20 minutes. There was no management present, just a group of young kids without supervision. It was ridiculous, and I definitely won’t be returning. Plus, the sandwiches were a mess!
