Lemon Tree Bakery Coffee Shop

I woke up before dawn and was craving a coffee and baked good. I only had to wait long enough for Lemon Tree to be open to satisfy my desire. I ordered a double shot cappuccino and one of their Cranberry Orange scones. Both made an enjoyable sunrise breakfast. The shop is very cute, selling local coffee and mugs among other non edible products. And the service was lovely. I'm a fan and will head back again soon.

Best place to find a tasty treat and an excellent coffee! I love the VLS bagel and a mocha. The seating is adorable with tables for games, a book, or your delicious food! It’s a great place to meet others and build your community. Check it out!!

Small tables and chairs fills up fast! Bagels were just average, and there was not much to choose from as far as baked goods (name is misleading this is not a bakery, i.e. no pastries). Coffee was good, but no creamer options other than plain lots of potential here, but not what we were expecting.

What a nice little cafe stop while heading towards Calaveras Big Trees State Park. I was initially drawn to this place by all of the scone photos. Scone flavors are on rotation and I ended up having the cranberry orange scone (flavor was recommended by the lady at the counter as I was too indecisive lol). Pretty decent scone. Fruit taste wasn't too overbearing. Fairly tender. Kinda wished that the scone was heated even just lightly though as it was quite cold.I also had a small hot mocha. I liked that the mocha didn't have an overwhelming amount of milk like most of the mochas that I've had. Good taste blend of coffee chocolate. Cool mug that it was served in. A little too lukewarm for my liking temperature-wise though.Friendly staff here. Overall 4-ish stars rounded up. Recommend checking this spot out if you're looking for some cozy cafe vibes in the area!
