Al Lago Dal Ross - ANFO

We came here on the recommendation of the family who own the Garden Grill hotel up the hill. We had a really super dinner. Despite being packed, the service was swift, welcoming and smiling. We shared the super antipasto plate then enjoyed excellent pizza and tagliato. So lovely to be close to the lake at night. Bravo.

I have eaten in this restaurant a number of times and the food has always been perfect. The menu is a good mix of traditional Italian cuisine using seasonal ingredients. The restaurant is near to the shore of Lago d'Idro, which adds to the delightful ambiance..

The food here was fabulous. I had locally caught perch, not a fish that you would see on a British menu! It was a beautifully cooked and absolutely delicious. The starters and deserts were excellent too. Prices reasonable, staff very friendly and bright cheerful surroundings. Well worth the short detour from the main road.
