Bob Luigi's Andover

First time eating Bob Luigi's, so I ordered one unique pizza (Mac and cheese) and my all time favorite (taco). Let me say first that the lady proprietor was delightful. Kind, smiling, apologetic about my pizza not being ready although I arrived earlyto pick it up so it wasn't necessary. My husband and I both really enjoyed both of the pizzas. The Mac and cheese pizza was adelicious change from the original style. With taco pizza, some places know how to get it right but several fall flat. Bob andLuigi's was perfect with the ratio of fresh vegetables to the warm pizza. Bravo!!! We will eat here again and will berecommending them to family and friends.

The Luigi XLarge is the same size as a large super supreme from Pizza Hut, but it costs nearly $9.00 more! The dessert pizza was just brown sugar with very little apple streusel—it was cold and brittle, making it almost impossible to eat. I ended up tossing it away like a frisbee. It seems that Bob and Luigi's has declined in quality over the past few years. They used to be excellent for gourmet pizza. The best pizza I ever had was at their old location on Woodlawn and 45th! I really hope B&L improves because it's nice to have different options among all the big franchises and their standard offerings!

I've been a long-time fan of this location and the various pizza places that have been there over the past 30 years. We decided to order takeout after our soccer games in Andover. We got a Pepperoni Calzone and a medium dessert pizza, which came to just under $50. I thought that was quite pricey, and unfortunately, the quality didn’t meet my expectations. If I'm spending $20 on a calzone, I expect it to be overflowing with cheese and pepperoni, but it was quite the opposite. The streusel pizza was a nice recovery from the calzone; I'd rate it slightly above average for a dessert pizza. I’ll probably explore other options before returning, but I must mention that the staff was incredible.
