Bamboo Gardens Chinese - Anderson

The place looks like a hole in the wall, but it's the best Chinese food I had in Anderson. The inside is more beautiful than the outside looks, and (at least when my wife and I came there) they had an A at their health check. I hung photos from the outside and General Tsu's chicken. It is very good and has a homemade quality. I definitely recommend. The portions are also huge.

Teriyaki beef skewers were great but the general tso, sesame chicken, and honey chicken were all the exact same. I thought my meal had applesauce mixed with peppers. Only thing different was the sesame chicken had sesame seeds on it. I was highly disappointed.

Do not go here! This use to be one of my favorite restaurants but the service is terrible and I found a **** bandage in my to go bag. When I took it back into the restaurant they tried to say it wasn’t a bandage and wanted me not to say it out loud. They did return my money but they have lost a customer!

Highly upset with this place. It use to be one of my favorite places to eat. Now I will never eat here again. My mother wanted a to go order placed when a couple of friends went to pick their food up. Well the lady refused to go back in the kitchen and get my mom's order placed and picked up. I will never grace the doors of this place again. They have completely lost my business. I do not recommend eating here to anyone if they are going to be that rude!!

The food here is fantastic. It is true that the service could be more friendly, but in a strange way we only chalk that within the framework of experience. The food is well worth the best Chinese food that my family had.
