After I finished, it took an additional 20 minutes to receive the bill because the server was busy chatting with other patrons, singing karaoke loudly (in a small space), and drinking sake. When the bill finally arrived, I was surprised to find an additional table set fee of $9.50, which, to my knowledge, wasn't mentioned anywhere beforehand except in some reviews. In summary, be prepared for long waits and unexpected charges for an overall average dining experience. **Pros:** - Very good food - Friendly chef **Cons:** - Inattentive (and possibly intoxicated) waitstaff - Long wait times for order taking and billing (not due to food prep) - Loud karaoke in a small venue - Surprise charges To sum it up, while the food was enjoyable, the experience overall may not be worth it.

I had an incredibly delicious bowl of shrimp udon at this restaurant. There's just one person handling everything—the cooking, serving, and bartending—and he does a fantastic job. The food is genuinely authentic and flavorful. I suggest arriving with an empty stomach and some patience, especially if it's busy, since he's the only one running the place. But trust me, it's definitely worth the wait!

Over priced dish, nothing special and over rated! Food took about an hour to come out. The food was???????? They added 20 dollars fee to the bill for two people as dinner set free!!!! The chef instead of making food was busy with karaoke machinesinging! ???? don?t recommend this place at all!

This restaurant is far more authentic than it appears from the outside. Wow, what an incredible place! The yakitori is just as good as any I've had in Japan, and the udon is absolutely delightful as well. The menus are handwritten and displayed on the wall, and the chef also serves as the only waiter. If you're looking for a fun evening, visit on a Friday night when the karaoke machine is occasionally in use.

I honestly wasn?t expecting much from the outside but, once I got in I could tell that it was going to be authentic. It?s one older gentleman working as cook and server so it does take a minute to get your food however it is definitely worth it. I gotthe shrimp tempura udon noodle soup and it was the most flavorful udon I?ve had. Amazing food, definitely going to comeback. P.S. pork belly is bomb
