Wonderful food! I have never had a bad meal yet!! Their fries are so crispy and good, the Cajun chicken wrap too! Best days to go are Monday Friday. My only complaint is I find that every time I go on Sunday, they have a section closed and we wait forever to order. The food and service on any other day makes it 5 stars. Just avoid Sundays.
When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy at all—only nine tables occupied and three waiters on duty, so it should have been a low-stress environment. We settled in, and soon an agitated waitress named Melissa approached our table to take our drink orders. She didn’t allow us adequate time to decide and left before we could even speak up. When she returned to take our food orders, we still hadn't finished our drinks. Melissa abruptly dropped my wife's order on the table, and when it was my turn, I ordered a cold ham sandwich with salad, tomatoes, mayo, and Cheddar. Before I could finish customizing my sandwich, she interrupted me to ask what side I wanted, leaving me frustrated. I requested to substitute provolone for the Cheddar and to add mustard, and then she left in a huff. Keep in mind, we hadn’t even received our drinks yet. When the food finally arrived, my sandwich was a disaster. I didn’t get the provolone, there was no mustard, and instead, it was a soggy mess with what looked like grilled mushrooms—none of which were mentioned on the menu. I can only surmise that when I mentioned mustard, she heard “mushrooms.” This wouldn’t have been an issue if she had listened properly instead of being dismissive about my order. This was the first time I had such a poor meal and experience there, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I refuse to spend my money to be treated poorly and served food that I wouldn’t even give to my dog. I understand that mistakes can happen, especially in a busy lunch service, but that wasn’t the case yesterday. Melissa should reconsider her role in the service industry if she can’t manage her attention when customers are trying to place an order. While I understand social media distractions can be enticing, work should come first, and customers deserve the best service possible.
I recently visited this restaurant with my partner and kids. She ordered the Chicken Noodle Soup, while I opted for the mushroom and onion burger. I really liked the variety of burgers available, which made me consider trying the Teriyaki and Pineapple Burger instead. The Chicken Noodle Soup was just right for the chilly weather, and the French fries were a huge hit—we ended up ordering another serving because they were perfectly crispy. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was very friendly. Overall, it’s definitely a lovely spot for a quick meal.
We decided to try this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday since we had never eaten here despite visiting the movies nearby for years. Our first impression was that the place felt a bit worn down, and the menus were damp and stained. I ordered an Asian chicken wrap with a side salad and a cup of coffee. The coffee was really good. The wrap was decent but somewhat bland; a bit of table salt improved it, but it still needed something more. The salad was fresh, and the vinaigrette was nice. Overall, the meal was okay, with reasonable prices and attentive service. While this is definitely the best option for dining in Dimond Center and a great spot for coffee, the experience didn't quite wow me. However, I appreciated the support for local artists showcased on the walls!
