Mcdonald's - Anchorage

The burger seemed to be thrown together and the pommes tasted old... which is strange for an 11:00 time. The Frappe was good.

Pulled up and all the lights are on like the restaurant is open, even the drive-thru menu is up like normal, but the place is closed. Is this what we're spending resources on mcdonald's?

This McDonald’s has the absolute best vanilla cone I’ve had at a Mickey D’s. Hubby had the Struppewaffel or whatever it’s called, the seasonal caramel McFlurry, and he said it was awesome as well. Freezing cold inside, staff was prepared for it and well bundled up but guests weren’t so dress warm even if it’s nice outside. (I think they do this to discourage loitering) Sandwiches were very good as well.

Order double bacon smokehouse, got a single, soda didn’t have syrup, and the fires taste like ocean.

The workers here were very personable and attentive. We went here every morning for breakfast since it was walking distance from our hotel and always had steaming hot McCafés along with our meal. I don’t really dig McDonald’s but because of the excellent customer service and somewhat ‘fresh’ food, I will be returning when we go again to AK.
