Max’s Beefy Burgers - Anchorage

Don't pass up the chance to savor amazing burgers and fries at this spotless little gem. This locally owned establishment is run by folks who truly care about your palate. My kids are quite selective when it comes to food, yet they adore this spot. If I could, I'd rate it a perfect 10 stars!

From the outside, this charming little spot may not look like much, but inside you'll find an impressive array of delicious dishes on the menu. Unlike diners with extensive menus that often fall flat, every dish here is made with genuine care and attention. I've tried numerous items so far, and I have yet to be disappointed!

As a first-time customer, I was quite disappointed. The burgers had an unpleasant taste, as if they were old, and the fries had a hint of what I can only describe as rotten potatoes. Unfortunately, nothing we ordered was enjoyable. My wife and I were eager to try this restaurant, but it will be our first and last visit. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, and the service was prompt and accurate. However, the food was terrible. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money here; it might even make you sick—two out of three people in my family ended up vomiting from the taste.

Max's may be the best burger joint I've been to. There may be a better one out of state, but this one is hard to beat. More than a dozen burger choices made fresh to order. A staff that cares. Bare bones basic dining room, which barely matters after you get your burger. Lots of other food options rather wide ranging for a burger joint, including Hawaiian BBQ.

My family really enjoys the food here! The menu has something for everyone. Everything is always hot and delicious. Customer service is wonderful; the lady at the front desk is the so sweet. Consistently good! A great place for lunch or dinner.
