Kodiak Kup - Anchorage

This place is fantastic; they serve the best sugar-free mocha frappuccino!

Their coffee is excellent—not burnt or overly acidic. I also really enjoy their Italian sodas. If you ask them for a surprise flavor, they’ll come up with some great combinations!

The coffee here is very inconsistent. I typically order an Americano with some flavor and cream, but this time the shots were clearly over-extracted. After just one sip, I had to toss it out. I was the second car in line at 7:25, yet I didn't receive my coffee until 7:39. I won't be returning.

I'm not sure why Google has the name spelled incorrectly, but it's actually KODIAK KUP. The staff here are always incredibly friendly and not only serve a fantastic cup of hot coffee, but their blended drinks, frappes, Red Bull, and Lotus are all delicious! I enjoy the bagels and breakfast burritos in the morning, but sometimes for lunch, I'll have a ham and cheese croissant with chips and a drink from their lunch special. After work, I love to grab a cookie, muffin, or pretzel with cheese! This is definitely my favorite coffee shop in Anchorage!

Canned cold brew isn't what you would expect from a barista; it feels more like something you'd pick up at a gas station. The quality is quite disappointing.
