Umami Burger - Anaheim

Ordered the impossible burger and let them know I was a vegetarian. Burger came out with the flag for impossible burger on it. After two bites, noticed the inside was pink, the waiter said he was positive it was correct but would triple check with the kitchen and when he came back, he said he was so sorry, the kitchen made a mistake. There is NO excuse for this. I would not suggest this restaurant to any vegetarian or vegan under any circumstances, it is not worth the risk. The manager apologized, big deal, how can a kitchen make this mistake

Umami Burger has very tasty food but the service in this location has been declining over the last five years. Wellmade burgers in a historical building but don’t expect a warmhappy greeting or service, but be pleasantly surprised if you receive one. Drinks are getting better, really enjoyed two this time
