フィードバックを提供するIt's been a couple of years since I've been here but it was a staple in Fridays when I worked in Anaheim. It was nice to randomly be in this part of town. I've tried so many of their sandwiches and you can't really go wrong. The portion is huge and I always take one half to go for dinner. Definitely need to stop and check it out!
Socal Weekend Walkarounds takes you to Anaheim. Off the beaten path is Tony's Deli. First opened in 1958. Ordered the usual couple of beers and 2 of the best sandwiches of our lives. We ordered the Fender Club and the Hornet. The Hornet is thick smoked turkey breast, salami, pepper jack cheese with sweet hot mustard on squaw. The Fender Club is turkey, Capicola, BLT, Swiss cheese with Chipotle mayo on Toasted Sourdough. Each sandwich was stuffed with meats, served with a pickle and a side of either Tony's classic potato salad or macaroni. Definitely check out Tony's when in Anaheim. Thank you, Mike! I've been trying to eat more of a vegetarian diet and one of my favorite meals is a veggie sandwich, and I have a few spots in Anaheim that I frequent specifically for their veggie sandwich. Tony's is one of them! Not only is the portion huge but it also comes with your choice of a side, and my go-to is their macaroni salad. Fridays are extra special because the staff throws in a free chocolate chip cookie with your meal, which my sweet tooth loves. I love coming here for lunch and sitting in their back patio area. They have awesome decor throughout and it's nice to enjoy your meal outside, especially when the weather is nice. They have plenty of tarp out back, so even if it's a sunny day, you're covered. The last time I visited, the staff mentioned that they have live music during the weekends, so I'll have to drop by and check it out. One thing to note is that parking is a bit of a challenge, especially if you're visiting during the lunch rush. There have been times when I needed to park in the neighborhoods. Otherwise, this is a great spot!
My husband and I stumbled upon Tony 's Original Deli Bottle Shop while driving around and looking for a place to have lunch. The outside of the building stood out among others along Anaheim Boulevard and a sandwich sounded like the perfect lunch that day for us. We had no idea what to expect, nor did we anticipate the overall 'awesomeness ' of this spot. From the food, service, and super cool interior vibe of Tony 's Original Deli Bottle Shop, they exceeded any and all expectations for us. It 's hands down a must-stop-spot! Upon entering, we were immediately greeted. Customers should order first, then pick a table to sit in. Our food was brought to us once seated. As first timers, the staff we interacted with were friendly and patient as we asked questions and learned more about their menu offerings. We were hungry and the food came out quickly and in a generous portion! We both ordered a Russell 's Dip: one with chips and one with their potato salad. The sandwich itself was MIGHTY! Stacked with tons of tender, flavorful meat, the right amount of provolone cheese, and the perfect Au jus to complement the sandwich. The potato salad was one of the best I 've had. Everything was phenomenal. Tony 's Original Deli Bottle Shop is a definite stop for us and has been added to our places to have lunch when in the Anaheim area. We 're looking forward to our return to try more of their goodies soon!
Got a sando for take away. Loved it and it was huge! Solid spot that I would return to! Looks like a casual bar too so if you have a time to sit and sip some beers also!
