Carver's Cafe - Anacortes

The food was fantastic! Great prices to begin so that not expected much, but man everything was delicious. Service was good and atmosphere was nice and comfortable. I had the chicken Cordon Bleu and it was sooo tasteful and juicy. Husband had chicken fried steak and he said it was the best he ever had. Anyway, come back soon.

Great food! Friendly service, but the server was distracted by what seemed to be a Regular customer that everyone knew, and they were keeping her distracted making us have to wait for basic things we needed to eat drink etc lol! But she was super nice, and when the other person finally left she could help us but by that time were pretty much ready to go! Maybe next time will be better!

We decided to try Carver's Cafe while visiting the casino, and we were pleasantly surprised! If you love garlic fries, the Swinomish Fries are outstanding! We also had the best chicken fried steak we've ever tasted! The portion was generous, so we both took half home. Even the hot chocolate was impressive. Everyone there was very friendly. The only downside was that they closed at 1 o'clock instead of the 2 o'clock stated on the website, but that was still late enough!

This restaurant is the perfect spot for late-night dining after 9:00, and the food is consistently excellent! It's my absolute favorite place in the world for Clam Chowder—it's a must-try!
