The Butterrock - An clochan liath

Excellent cafe in the centre of Dungloe. Very friendly welcome and quick service. Great breakfast place...just round the corner from where we stayed. Good menu with plenty of variety...nice coffee.

It was OK but definitely not worth the money. Warm chicken and bacon salad served in very small bowl, it was triangular but not much bigger than a side plate. Not worth the €10.95 charged. Hubby had a very uninspiring club sandwich. It's the first time I ever saw a club sandwich with only 2 slices of bread. We had an evening meal booked elsewhere and we were worried as we were eating lunch a bite late we might ruin it, there was no chance of that!

Was here recently but was disappointed this time, the staff were very pleasant as usually Ordered a warm panini got a baguette with cold fillings. The tossed salad, lettuce was not washed. A young man in a chef jacket walked through the restaurant area from the kitchen and back again with a filthy white jacket.

Visited here a few times this week and the staff are really friendly. Food was lovely too, we had breakfast and lunch and was not disappointed. We also had some of their desserts to takeaway which were lovely. Defo worth a visit if in or near Dungloe

In for lunch today. The food was delicious. The service was fantastic. The place was so clean. Try the chocolate mint cheesecake.
