Salsa Shop Amsterdam Cs B.v. Amsterdam

I heard this place has good music and is a good night out. I can honestly say this is the worst club I have ever been to, and I have been to many. The bouncers are extremely rude, and try to assert authority just because they believe they have a little bit of power. We came here for my girlfriends birthday and had a very small birthday chocolate in a small box. They wouldn’t allow us to take it in, even when we asked to store in their lockers. The bouncer then agreed to store it in the corner, then threw it in the corner and broke the gift. When I went to collect it when I was leaving, another bouncer aggressively told me to put it back, he didn’t care if it was mine. He continued to repeat this aggressively. I then decided to complain, and the “manager”, a lady on the door was rude to me and wouldn’t listen to my concerns. She did not handle the situation like a manager should and walked away. Considering the entrance fee of 16 Euros, the treatment to customers is unacceptable, and is terrible for people who work in a “hospitality” environment. On another note, the music was very repetitive, playing the same tracks 4-5 time In a short space of time. Honestly, save yourself the time, effort and money and go somewhere else. You will not enjoy your time here. Very rude staff and generally not a nice place. I’ve put one star, but it deserves 0

This club actually deserves 0 stars. FOR ALL TOURISTS WHO WANT TO PARTY, AVOID THIS CLUB, RIP OFF AND SCAM. I've been to many places in the world but never seen a club like this. it starts with the staff who are very unfriendly and make you feel uncomfortable. we booked a vip table and also paid 100 euros in advance. when we arrived they started looking for problems with us. then after we decided to cancel they didn't give us back the 100 euro deposit and insisted it was their right to keep it. This club has completely misunderstood the principle of hospitality. if you want to have a nice evening then avoid this place

The club is spacious and well decorated. The staff are mostly nice. I went on a Friday night and was charged €15 for cover. Unfortunately the crowd seemed to consist mostly of teenagers who don’t know how to hold a drink and are oblivious to the fact that there are people around them.
