Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Amherst

Good ice cream and cake when you buy something else than I'm not sure what you expect from a place called Dairy Queen.

A quick lunch. The food was pretty good, but fairly greasy. But that's probably why it tasted good. The store was fairly clean. Not bad, but not perfect either. The person at the counter wasn't overly friendly, but not unfriendly either. All in all, it was not the cheapest lunch ever. But the food was pretty good. The store was fairly clean. And the employee wasn't unacceptable either. And more important. I didn't have to eat that terrible food at the more well known burger operations.

Not much to say as it was very busy and took about 30 mins to have my order placed. Service was alright as normally it’s better than it was this one night which I am assuming is a one off.

Update: They made right the errors below to the best that could be expected so stars increased. Would have been better not to have all the previous issues though. Fourth time in a row they have managed to mess up my take-out order, this most recent time they dropped an sundae on the counter (and still served it), missed food, when I came back for the missed fries they reserved me back my cold burgers (it was 30 min later, I had asked for the burgers to be replaced). Sad that I can't give zero stars.

I hardly ever go to DQ, but I finally decided to go and was disappointed to find out today the burger I was interested in trying was no longer offered. Then I decided to try a different burger and upgraded to onion rings and a shake. It came up to almost $18 for a fast food combo! I was thinking this burger better be delicious and huge and get lots of onion rings. The burger was ok, the two patties were on the dry side. My container of onions rings was not even full! What a rip! For that price the burger should be tasty and juicy and full of onion rings! I never had milk shake from DQ before that I could remember. Thought I'd try since it seems people say they are good. It was nothing special. So if you have money to waste on over priced mediocre fast food combo, go to DQ! If not, go someplace better.
