The Sub Pizza - Amherst

New management so far pretty good! Good serving, fair price, delicious food. And they actually deliver! Not a little Italy, but still good things.

Pepperoni and crispy chicken pizza may sound unusual, but I enjoyed it regularly during my last two years in Amherst. It's truly something special. While I know Antonio's is a popular choice, I will always support Sub Pizza. I believe they serve the best pizza in Amherst.

Great food! Having worked there, I can confidently say their kitchen is impeccably clean. Just a heads-up, delivery can be slow on Thursdays and Saturdays if you order after 8:30 PM because of the high volume of orders. Don’t miss the chicken taco pizza and the roasted dough bites—they're definitely worth a try!

$3.00 for a slice of pizza that’s nearly a quarter of a whole pie? Absolutely! This was the spot where my friends and I headed after hitting the bars. Even with us and many other intoxicated patrons, the staff were efficient and courteous. I’m really disappointed that places like *Sams* have closed down. Even when I was 1500 miles away from home in the summer, all I craved was pizza from there. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was unmatched. The only downside to this place was that it wasn’t exceptionally decorated or modern, but the food was fantastic.
