The low sugar, healthiest option I was offered was blueberry lemon cake which I was told was not cake- just blueberry lemon when I ordered it (which was misleading). It was a sugar bomb and why would you even buy a drinkable cake? There little information online or I wouldn 't have had to call in. This is basically boba smoothie or tea without boba- which we have three boba shops in downtown amherst already. Clean inside. Smoothie was well blended. Tasted of protein, sugar substitue, and cake. But not impressed. So sugary. I 'm 23 too- I 'll just go to umass for smoothies or get boba tea. I 'll update if I try the teas at some point.
If you are looking for a place that has smoothies made from REAL ingredients (like fruits, veggies, dairy/non-dairy milk, yogurt, etc. you will NOT find that here. The smoothies consist of flavored powders ice blended together. I personally found it gross and was disappointed because I got my hopes up about a smoothie place (that I thought would use whole ingredients opening up in Amherst.
The drinks were tasty. The family who runs the place is very polite. Looked nice and clean. Great experience!
Tasty teas and scrumptious shakes. Been here 5 times or so in the past month. Teas can be boosted with natural caffeine and gives me just the lift I need midday. It's perfect for changing the monotony of coffee all week, and not to mention healthy. Totally refreshing too! The smoothies hit the spot post-workout, since they are super low in sugar, as are the teas.
My husband I stopped in today while looking for a meal around lunch time. I loved the big open space with clear markings for social distance. I ordered the Banana Split and my husband ordered the Mint Chocolate chip smoothies. So good and so filling! We don't normally come into Amherst center but now we have an excuse. The business is where Bart's used to be back in the day. I wish the Business Owner the best of luck going forward!
