Wok N Roll - Ames

Love their hotpot. Reasonable prices and big portions. The egg rolls are delicious. I ordered online today and when I arrived to pick up my order no one was in the front. I wasn't in a rush so I just sat down and went on my phone. Waited about 5 minutes before the owner came out. She was very apologetic and gave me an order of fried rice.

The overall experience was good, duck and spicy chicken legs are pretty good. The spicy stir fry pot was fair, I think the ingredients were a bit overcooked, and it’s very salty, but it might be just that one night. We wanted to get the Korean hotpot, but they said it’s oo gas, so won’t able to order. Was a good and fair authentic Chinese food.

This place is owned by the same people as ichiban (across the street), and I think this better. As long as you are someone willing to get something more exciting than orange chicken, this is definitely a place to try. You get lots of food and I’ve never been disappointed by it.

Nice spot right in the middle of campus town. The sign on the sidewalk advertised a lunch special served with soup and maybe an eggroll. Inside my server didn't know about that and I paid full price. Friendly staff. Clean, attractive dining room.Food: 4/5

The best fried rice in Ames!! My roommate and I just went right before close and they happily greeted us and our food was ready in less than 10min!! The owners are so nice!!
