Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers - Ames

I understand that many businesses are having a hard time finding staff. However, when we visited today, the interior was very dirty. There were few clean tables, and food was scattered on the floor. The drive-thru line was backed up almost to the road. It's hard for me to comprehend why some people can't seem to clean up after themselves. The employees appeared overwhelmed, and if everyone did their part, the place wouldn't have looked nearly as bad.

We ordered our usual double cheeseburgers and large chilis so we could enjoy open-faced chili burgers while watching Netflix. This Wendy's always delivers. Even with around 10 cars in line and just 20 minutes until closing, they got us through quickly and sent us home with fresh, hot food without any delays. Two thumbs up!

The staff did an outstanding job. We visited after the FFA State Convention with around 50 hungry teenagers, and they managed to get our food to us in a timely manner while showing great patience.
