フィードバックを提供するWe were over at night red after italia. our hotel recommended this place. Oh young, so glad they did. wonderful experience. after a really terrible journey through france with terrible weather, bonkers traffic we finally arrived in ambilly annemasse rather roared. our French is limited, but. everything was good on the communication front! we were welcome and have never been uneasy with our try to use our school days French. we ordered our very meat-based food that is a good thing! and it came to our table with hot dishes for us to cook. like a better version of fondue, as it came with dips and fries and veg! very acceptable wein at reasonable price. slightly eccentric, but totally in love. if you find yourself in this area, please visit one. they will not be disappointed. we love this type of place therefore the high rating point. I couldn't find anything I complain about. merci
An excellent and simple restaurant where you can taste a beautiful meat in several styles with a good wine in a friendly atmosphere.
The small restaurant serves very simple but delicious meals. good quality meat cooked live on her table. goat cheese n honeysalat was delicious.
I have been going to this restaurant since years with my family on regular basis. The quality of food is just great, priced very reasonable, and the owner is a charm. One of the best restaurants in the region, especially if you like meat. Most...dishes are to be cooked by yourself either on a grill or a stone. The restaurant also offers choices of cheese based dishes such as fondu and salads and other starters. If you are hungry try out fois gras as starter and finish with chocolate fondu as desert. My favorites are the grilled filet of beef or potence (which is usually for two). Good selection of drinks too.
We decided to try this restaurant based on TA reviews. The restaurant is at walking distance from Ibis Annemasse (Ambilly), which is located on the road to Geneva (Moillesulaz border) and has a cow (white and black) outside its door. The menu is basically divided...in different types of grilled meats (braserades) and local dishes (tartiflette, raclette, etc. They also have meat and cheese fondues. All the meats are done on a small charcoal oven (called brasier) which is brought to the table. I decided to try a mixed grill (with sausage, beef, chicken, duck and pork). This came with french fries, some vegetables and 3 lovely dressings. My husband had the raclette, which was also done in the little oven, underneath the main grill on the table, where the meat was being cooked. We both liked our dishes and the raclette was even better than the one we had the following night at the restaurant Le Tournavel The prices of the main dishes vary between 16 to 24€. Although expensive, that is normal in this part of France, near Geneva (in Switzerland). The portions were OK and as we do not need appetizers and desserts it came to a reasonable price. The service was pleasant and efficient. Overall we were very pleased and happy to have another option to dine when visiting this area.
