Schlotzsky's - Amarillo

This is a fantastic restaurant! It's usually not very crowded, but today they were short on staff. Despite that, the food was excellent. They offer delicious gluten-free pizzas, and you have the option to add sides. The sandwiches are always a great choice as well.

This restaurant has a wonderful location; in fact, it's the best Schlotzsky's I've ever dined at. The interior is spacious, and there are plenty of outdoor seating options. The service is friendly, and the place is kept very clean. I appreciate the drink selection, especially since they offer more tea varieties than any other location I've visited. Instead of using baskets, they provide metal trays for the food, giving you ample space for your meal. After we finished eating, an employee even came by to collect our trays. Plus, the sandwich mascot costume is absolutely adorable!

The sandwich and BBQ chicken were fantastic! The woman who took our order around 4:30 was exceptional! She really made the experience enjoyable.

The store may have been short staffed today and they were busy for lunch, but I was pleased to see everyone smiling and they seemed to be in good spirits. That isn't always the case these Covid days. Good job!
