Agriturismo L'arceto - Alvito

I've been in this place many times, but I've never considered it. Sunday 26/02/2016, I have been with my wife is another couple at lunch in this place, which is not very large, in fact it is good norm to book, we ate before the bruschettes, then we have taken 2 gnocchi casarecci with cream of zucchini, a tagliatella with ragù and a cream of zucchini, also the tagliatelle, strictly made in the house and delicious, for second we have ordered 2 portions mixed wine For a small amount of € 17,00 per person (awesome). The room is rustic and well maintained, during the summer they also provide outdoors and there is also a children's playground. The menu is not wide but what they propose is very fresh and great.

We stayed there for Easter and was surprised by the goodness of their simple and tasty recipes. Homemade pasta and local ingredients. Also great for those like me have children since it has a large garden and children's games. Most importantly, away from city traffic.

We have already been in this farm about 2 years ago, we promised with my wife that we would definitely be back since we were impressed by the availability of the manager who had welcomed us quietly even if they were the 14.30 past, the restaurant was full and also and above all we had not booked wrong as the local works more on reservation. this time we called earlier. the appetizer is humble but exceptional, without great claims in quantity not very rich but tasty, with local products such as ham, sausages, cheese (good) of the moment and some grilled vegetables. the first are usually 2 or 3 between which to choose and since the other time I tasted the maltagliati with ham, beans and asparagus (and I was surprised by the fact that they were a little brodose and not dry as I imagined) I opted this time for the fettuccine with zucchini cream, good but perhaps too delicate to palate like my ones who love the strong flavors. second I could not fail to replicate with the lamb in the grill. Eating at Arceto is a pleasure not to be missed. Pleasant and well cooked dishes and especially homemade dishes.
