Happy Takos - Alvin

Just didn't have a very impressive experience here. The service was a little slow but they said that they were just there to make good food not fast food so even though we had a limited time we probably need to try it when or not so rushed. However my wife got horchata that was extremely watered down and the food didn't have much flavor. The music was so loud that we couldn't even understand what the waitress was saying. Just not a great experience. May try again to see if can be better

Wanted to try some Mexican in food in Alvin and there isn't many choices. Me and coworker decided on this place. I want to start that the place was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. The customer service was great and every server was very nice!The food on the other hand was not very good. I'm giving 3 stars because obviously I only tried one thing on the menu so I'm assuming they have something better than what I tried. I got trompo tacos which tasted store bought and the corn tortillas were so dry and had absolutely no flavor. I ordered 3 tacos and I could barely finish 2 they were so bad!Also all of there salsas are exceptionally good though. I forgot to mention that! Since this place is so close I'm sure I'll try it again, maybe for breakfast!

Absolutely fantastic. We are not big on eating out, restaurants usually never use good ingredients, even fancier ones. BUT this place was the best! Everything is fresh or homemade. Very clean, great service, food came out super fast. At 2$ a taco you would think it wouldn't be anything great, but I can honestly say it's the best I've had. No complaints, only a great experience. If you want good food, good quality, good service, at a good price, this is the place.

We have eaten here several times and the food is consistently good. We like the free drinks too (two margarettis each) and it is pretty cheap. The chips are thick and dip is a little on the spicy side.Food: 5/5

This place completely surprised me on how amazing the food was. Not to mention the 5 star waiter we had. Just beyond perfect experience, i highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking very high quality tex mex food. Their barbacoa is off the freakin chain yo.Parking: Plenty of parking.
