Every time I go, they mess up my order. The last time I went, there was only one roll in the entire order. The time before that, I had to repeat my request to the person taking my order five different times. Eventually, I just gave up and thought, "Forget it." When I got to the drive-thru window, the employee wanted to go over my order to ensure it was correct, but I told him it wasn’t right when I ordered it, despite having told the other person five times. I’m just tired and hungry; I’d settled for whatever at that point. It seems that every time I visit the Chicken Express in Alvarado, something is wrong with my order.
The workers were incredibly slow! I waited 15 minutes just to place my order, and when I finally reached the speaker, the person taking my order had a bad attitude. I ultimately decided to leave, and three other cars followed suit. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
We ordered the "2 Can Dine" deal, which includes 10 chicken tenders, 1 small mashed potatoes, 1 small macaroni and cheese, 1 roll each, 2 small gravies, and 2 drinks. However, the issue we encountered was that two people can't share just 2 small sides. My husband ended up ordering additional sides because we felt we needed more for each person, and that brought the total to $22. The food was hot and delicious, but there simply weren't enough sides. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be returning.

I've been patient during my last four visits, as they've had signs up indicating they're short-staffed. However, after today, I'm done. I waited 45 minutes for my order, only for it to be incorrect. They don't answer the phone, and their website is currently down. I ended up spending $50 on some chicken, which feels outrageous. Maybe if they paid their staff better, they could retain more employees.
