Angry Bull Saloon - Alva

Food is above average. Hours are variable depending upon how staff feels. They say 2am but normally means 1030pm. Great place to grab an old school afternoon lunch although be prepared to be told they might be out of that item. If you're looking to stop for a smoke and a cold one just keep driving. Smoking is pretty much frowned upon like taxes. I gave it 3 stars because it's above average and it is because the food is great whenever they have it.

First time trying this place as we are just passing through. Food smells great from out side so we had to try it! We had the brisket and the pulled pork both were great it didn't need any sauce but I had to try what they had and it was pretty good. Only complain I have would be the portions were on the small side but I didn't leave hungry either. I would have liked to try a few other items on the menu but we were only there for the night.

The food was so good we came twice on our visit to Alva! The bull burger is amazing! We tried the fried pickles, homemade chips and jalapeño poppers for appetizers, all were excellent! $2.50 beers..can't beat it! We will defiantly be back if we return to Alva!

Great food and drinks! Occasionally the specials are phenomenal. Ask about the steak tips or the lobster bisque. Amazing.

This place was awful, at least service wise. I don't know if it was our table or what, but our waiter dude forgot about us constantly. We were there for almost two hours because it took him thirty minutes to come take our order and he didn't bring our drink for another 15-30 minutes after that. Also their menu is pretty limited to BBQ and burgers, which if fine just something that people should note. My food was cold when I got it (along with most of my friends) and everything would have been okay if the waiter really tried to help us. He served other tables that walked in after us a lot more and I saw him playing something on his phone right by the pool tables. I didn't come for the bar so I don't know how good that is.
