We got a new server, only been working a week or 2, the place was dead, maybe 10 people total.There was a complication (misunderstanding) with my order, so my other half ate alone, while I waited for my food to be remade.By the time I got my food, the mashed potatoes were cold. She was done eating and then had to wait for me to finish eating.By the time it was said and done, I figured they would comp the bill. To offer me to come back to do a better review.The manager commented that she would be ok with a bad review, than to offer us to come back.All and all, not a very good experience.Parking: Always parking unless they are busy...Kid-friendliness: My kids love Applebee's
I very rarely leave negative reviews but on this occasion I could not pass. I am a teacher and live in Edmond, I had a special Saturday evening planned at Quartz Mountain Resort for my wife and I 's 21 year anniversary. We drove in a day earlier to visit with her family and take them to dinner. My wife received a few gift cards for Applebees for the Holiday and her favorite place is Applebees. Most places near us in OKC have closed we told our family we were taking them out to dinner when we got there.So, GC was totaled for 125.00. We enjoyed the dinner, atmosphere was fine, server was ok and then we received our bill. My wife gave her the gift certificates and said we would pay for the rest (total was 140) She returns and tells my wife that they are not taking gift certificates due to computer issues and that we were suppose to be told at the door, which we were not. I simply asked if I could speak to a manager and her reply was, He is just going to tell you the same things and to be honest we are having difficulties taking credit cards as well. So, for a couple on a budget I had to pay 140 and even included a 20 dollar tip. Sorry however, this was rather shocking to me, we were excited to be able to treat some of our family to dinner and use cards and at the end they simply just say, We are not taking those right now?! Just thought it was poorly handled and could have at least taken something off our bill. Wont be back..
My husband and I came in tonight and ate and I will say it was very disgusting and not even fresh and it's obvious the food was microwaved.... Our waitress who seemed overworked was great but the cooks need to go... Paid $52. something for slop that we only took a few bites from each item. The menu is very deceiving cause on the menu it looks great but when it gets to your table it looks disgusting... Will be calling corporate on our experience tonight...
We had the pretzels with beer cheese and quesadillas. Few things were dirty the front door had finger prints all over it . The beer cheese had a broken tortilla piece in it. I am hoping they don't reuse the beer cheese they gave us first pretzel bread . We went today bout 130 pm . The server was great he did an excellent job . The appetite quesadilla were good . The restaurant just needs a good cleaning
