Best Food In Town - Altoona

Misleading Advertising. The menu displayed above the counter showed a tempting platter of four steamed and four fried dumplings, accompanied by a cup of soy sauce, titled "Steamed/Fried Dumplings (8) $4.95." However, when I placed my order, I was informed by someone claiming to be the owner that this option was unavailable. Instead, I was told I could choose between fried or steamed dumplings from the paper menu for $6.25. I asked why the picture menu was being shown and received no response. I suggested they remove the misleading image, but again received no reply. While the food I ended up ordering was quite good, the overall atmosphere felt a bit worn. Be cautious when ordering!

It's truly disappointing to be charged for a meal that had hair in it. I didn’t say anything at the time and paid for both meals, but as I was doing so, I knew I would never return to this restaurant again. Charging me after such an experience was a poor business decision. Goodbye to the best food; while the food was good, this incident left a bad taste in my mouth. Amen.

I absolutely love Chinese food and have dined at many places. Best Food in Town is my favorite! Everything is incredibly tasty. The meats are tender and flavorful, while the vegetables are crunchy and fresh. Their delivery service is always prompt, and when we pick up our order, the staff is friendly and welcoming. I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else!
