Sandy Point - Alton Bay

The wait staff was wonderful, and the food was exceptionally good. Although we had to wait for a while, it was definitely worth it. For those hoping to see the Lod restaurant return, that's not going to happen as the owner has retired. I was informed that most of the staff here are new, so please do give them a chance. - Sandi

I used to visit this restaurant weekly, but ever since the change in management, things have gone downhill. I went twice last year and only once this year. Sadly, our favorite spot no longer feels the same. The food, atmosphere, and service have lost their appeal for us. It seems the new owners are seemingly posting their own glowing reviews, while the local community in Alton knows what's really going on. I hope they will either change ownership soon or open a better restaurant in Alton. It’s truly disappointing.
