フィードバックを提供するMy aunt and I visited this place to enjoy a few drinks, and later we decided to take some cheeseburgers to go. We had a fantastic time, and the service was outstanding. We connected with some locals and really had a lot of fun. I will definitely be returning. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the spacious balcony that offers a lovely view of the lake!
First things first: I called my friend Skids to grab some supplies for the day ahead. For an all-day drinking event, you need to be prepared! Skids was ready, so I hopped on my bike and made my way over, opting for the quieter side streets since Route 436 can get busy. When I arrived at Skids' place, something felt off, but I really needed what he had, so I went inside. What I found was surprising. There was Skids, sitting in his underwear, laughing uncontrollably amidst a chaotic scene of what looked like mountains of white powder. On the floor, cash was scattered everywhere, and it was clear he’d indulged in some wild substances. He was throwing donuts at the wall, making no sense at all. I quickly tossed some cash on the table, grabbed what I needed, and even took a little something for myself. The ride to Cheers was bizarre; fire hydrants looked like dragons, oak trees were conversing with me, and the road felt like it was melting beneath me. But I pressed on, determined to reach the bar. In an effort to cool off, I started shedding layers of clothing, but soon I had exhausted all my energy and passed out. When I regained consciousness a couple of days later, I found myself on the shore of a secluded pond, completely naked and covered in mud. But was I still in time for happy hour? Absolutely! Because at Cheers, every hour is a happy hour.
The view is stunning, and the drink prices are great. The staff is friendly, and the location is very convenient with ample parking. It's a charming little hole-in-the-wall spot!
Bartenders are cute but seem short tempered. As a bartender myself, small talk and casual chit chat to know your clientele, is a huge part of the job. I went in with 2 other friends and they were trying to make conversation and they had stale face and seemed disinterested. However. The drinks were made correctly. Were affordable and not ridiculously over priced. And the other patrons of the bar were very sweet. Felt like a relaxed environment.
If you like stiff drinks and and the friendliest bartenders in town make sure you don't pass up Cheers. Come for the $2 burgers and special Sunday football dishes, stay for the Belle of the Ball, Friday night all-you-eat wings. And whatever you do, make sure you order a Stand-Up Vicky!
