My family has been eating at Akanomi for many years. It’s our favorite sushi spot in the Capital Region. The staff is wonderful and friendly. Service is attentive. The food is terrific. I was craving sushi, and this spot was the closest to my location--I'm so glad I gave it a try! The food exceeded my expectations. We ordered the lobster sushi and a special roll with fried shrimp, both of which were packed with flavor and absolutely hit the spot. The portions were just right, and the prices were surprisingly affordable. The service was excellent; the staff was incredibly friendly. Watching the chefs prepare the sushi right in front of us added to the experience. I'll definitely be coming back!
