Allgauer's - Alsip

Breakfast buffet is worse than a Hampton Inn. Things are dirty, sticky, and there are no safety precautions. There are no tongs for bread or pastry items so eat at your own risk. Service was almost non existent and employees are more interested in talking at the podium than clearing plates or checking in. This should be a free breakfast at best. Not up to Hilton hotel standard let alone a Double Tree. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Fresh every time every meal. Have been coming to Alsip on and off for a few years now and am always so pleased with the food here. Nice bar too. These guys are great

The restaurant and adjoining lounge are small, with limited menu choices, but the food was good. Nothing to write home about, and really nothing to make it stand out over anybody else's food, but it was good, and it was served by some really nice folks. Juan is a stellar employee, and he treated me like royalty. He went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. His memory is remarkable, and his personality is fantastic. I hope he's still there the next time I happen to be in Chicago.

We went there for Easter brunch. The food was cold and overcooked. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
