The place is made in traditional way. here you will find many national foods. it has no good intention, but is located in the heart of almaty

Local restaurant. Very simplistic decor. Service average. Language barrier. No one could speak English. Ordered soup that was tasteless. Having said that, the mixed grill was excellent: lamb, chicken and beef kebabs.

The food was acceptable if a bit pricy, but our waiter only stopped by every 15 minutes or so before we ordered, and after, we had to call another waitress to get him over. Also be warned, the 5 cheese pizza doesn't have any sauce.

Food was decent, but not very good value for money for Almaty. Service was quite slow in spite of the restaurant not having been packed full of clients. Menu only available in Russian, and not very clear picture illustrations seemed a bit random. The no smoking room was full of smokers actively enjoying their cancerous habits. Oh, and of the many different kinds of beers listed on the menu, they only had just one. The waiters didn't speak English, which isn't surprising, but didn't even try to vaguely understand what we were trying to communicate.

Guys don't realise their customers have taste for what they pay for. Get ready that nice but expensive beer that you order will be replaced with something of a similar colour but absolutely different taste
