Great atmosphere with lots of local returning customers. Lovely staff and a great selection of home cooked meals. Reasonable prices for Switzerland. It's the staff that make this place 5!*

Been there for Pizzas which where great. The pasta we had ... worst ever. No idea how you can cook pasta so bad

I can highly recommend this restaurant. The manager as well as the waiters are very friendly and attentive, and the menu is pages and pages of delicious dishes, pizza as well as meat, seafood, salads, pasta ... the works, something for everybody. We've eaten there lots of times and it's always been very good. There's a very small area in front of the restaurant where you can sit outdoor underneath the large chestnut trees in the summer. Even though the place borders on a main street, the noise from traffic is not bad at all. Parking can be a bit hard. The restaurnat doesn't have it's own parking lot. There are some spaces very near by, but they are often occupied, since the restaurant is usually full. However, there is enough parking in the smaller side streets, but it might mean a few minutes' walk. There's also a street car stop right outside. In the summer when the place is full inside and out, service can sometimes be a bit slow, but really not to bad. For Swiss stabdards, prices are not bad at all - more than what we except to pay at home, but way less than other Swiss places even very close by.

Was gibt es Schöneres, als unter einer alten Kastanie zu essen? Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und kompetent. Die Speisen waren hervorragend zubereitet und heiß serviert. Die Salate waren frisch und knackig. Ich kann den Lindenplatz nur wärmstens empfehlen! Wir kommen gerne wieder... Immer wieder!
