Restaurant am Lindenplatz - Allschwil

This place has great food and very friendly staff.During lunch is open and they take reservations. Their pizzas are great and you can take away. will go back

Went because of the good reviews at TripAdvisor but was a bit disappointed. Very dirty table. Food was below average compared with other diners and pretty expensive for what you get. The meat was very expensiv dry and sparsely seasoned. Cold beverages had a strange taste as made with main water. We will not need to return.

We eat at this restaurant regularly when we spend time in Switzerland - which we do every year; my husband is Swiss. We have seen this place go through several different owners, and there has been a change again recently, but the menu has remained more or less the same, and some of the waiters are still there as well. The food is really good, not excellent, but certainly good, and there'sa great variety, and they also have seasonal specials. During the summer time you can sit in the front yard underneath thelarge chestnut trees. The food is pretty expensive, but not more so than at other restaurants in Switzerland.
